The Center's focus is the study of the human behavior in modern organizations. By addressing the organizational and managerial environment in its entirety, recognition is given to the increasing importance of the behavioral field in the discipline of management.
The center is interdisciplinary and provides a forum for research and scientific activities among researchers and colleagues from the following departments at the University of Haifa: Education, Political Science, Graduate School of Management, Economics, Sociology and Anthropology, Psychology, Human Services and Nursing.
Goals & Orientation
The main goal of the center is to advance knowledge in the behavioral field of management through research and publications, interdisciplinary cooperative research, education and enrichment, involvement, and advancement of the profession in Israel as well as in its neighboring countries. Since this involves a wide range of human activities and knowledge, the Center encourages researchers from various disciplines to participate in planning and conducting studies.
